CouncilAI for Windows

CouncilAI is installed from the Microsoft Store, so there is no installer to download by hand and no Windows security warning to click through.

1️⃣

Open the Store page

Get CouncilAI on the Microsoft Store, or search for "CouncilAI" in the Microsoft Store app.

2️⃣

Get and install

Click the button on the Store page, sign in with your Microsoft account if asked, and let it install. Updates are delivered by the Store.

3️⃣

Add an API key

Open CouncilAI and add a key for at least one provider (Claude, GPT, Grok, or OpenRouter) in Settings. The key guides on this site show how to get one, and OpenRouter has free models if you want to try it at no cost.

System requirements

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
Internet connection (required: CouncilAI routes every message to a real cloud AI provider)
An API key from at least one supported provider
